The groundbreaking ceremony for the first three plants in the collaboration between GP JOULE and the Alternative Resource Energy<\/strong>Authority<\/strong> (AREA)<\/a> has been completed. On August 31, 2022, construction began on the three plants Berwick, Antigonish, and Mahone Bay in the Atlantic Province of Nova Scotia in Canada. The AREA organization, which is 100 percent community-owned, developed and operates the Ellershouse wind farm in West Hants with ten wind turbines and a capacity of 23.5 MWp and has solar projects with a total capacity of 9 MWp in the pipeline. AREA and the local authorities are already saving 192,335 tonsof CO2 equivalent<\/sub> and continue to work on reducing emissions and increasing their contribution to environmental protection. <\/p>\n","excerpt":{"rendered":"
